“It is not how you handle the success but how you handle your failure is more important in life.” It’s easy to claim responsibility when things go well, but it’s hard when they don’t. A truly responsible person, however, accepts responsibility either way. At the end of the day, we are solely responsible for our success and our failures. And the sooner we realize, we accept that and integrate that into our work ethic, we will start being successful. As long as we blame others for the reason we aren’t where we want to be, we will always be a failure.

Life is a mixed bag of opposite poles. Where there is a success, there is a failure as well. Although everyone wants to make their lives full of joy and success. No one can negate the possibility of sorrow and failure. Everyone goes through ups and downs in his or her lives. The person who has achieved great success has also gone through their own share of failure during the course of their lives. That is why, as failure is part and parcel of life, we need to handle it in an effective way to make our lives successful.

When we get success or failure, we must take personal responsibility for our own successes and failures, and never make the mistake of blaming others or the circumstances of our lives in order to deflect blame away from ourselves. Blaming others and not taking personal responsibility for our own life prevents us from reaching our full potential. We should not get down when we get the failure because Failure is an especially valuable opportunity to learn. We need to grow to appreciate that fact as a follower; otherwise, when we become leaders we will tend to punish people for their failures instead of encouraging them to learn from them. That’s just stupid and an abdication of real leadership.

Sometimes working hard with full dedication is not enough to reach your desired goal in life. It does not matter how much accurate your plans are; you are bound to fail because no plans are perfect, and your hard work with single-minded dedication falls short in front of unexpected challenges for which you are not prepared in advance. However, placing blames on others or external circumstances will not do any good for you. You have to take responsibility for your failure to move forward in life. We should bounce back with full energy and confidence whenever life hits us with some challenges and problems.

It is not how we handle the success but how we handle our failure is more important in life. Failures are an inevitable part of life, and everyone goes through it at some point of time during his or her lives, and it is the attitude of a person that determines whether he or she is going to bounce back or fall hard in life. If we take responsibility for our failure, we will definitely have the attitude to bounce back.

Taking responsibility for our failure is an amazing habit we can inculcate in life for its betterment. It empowers us to take a decision to bounce back from failure and makes our life enriching. Failure is not a proof of our incapability, but it is an opportunity to learn what it has to offer and write down our success story. So do not get disappointed and accept failure as an opportunity to learn and grow in life.

No Individual can empower us, only we can empower ourselves. Unless and until we assume full responsibility for ourselves, we force someone else to assume responsibility for us, and by doing so we make ourselves a dependent rather than an empowered individual.

“It seems to be the hardest thing in the world to admit we’ve made a mistake and try to put it right. It requires you to challenge a status quo of your own making.” We should always take full responsibility for our success or failure and never forget that success always starts with failure.
