Most of us will be familiar with the experience of silently talking to ourselves in our head. But do we know, There is nothing more powerful than the way we talk to ourselves about ourselves. Self-talk—both verbal and mental—is important because the way we talk to ourselves attaches meaning to our experiences. What’s actually happening or has just happened doesn’t influence us as much as the positive or negative spin we give it, including our assessment of the role we played in a given situation. This is what influences us most and becomes our long-term truth.

If our internal monologues are judgmental, critical, shaming, or perfectionistic, it impacts our sense of self-worth, confidence, and competence. But when our self-talk is kind, compassionate, encouraging, forgiving, and optimistic, it enables us to move beyond old wounds and approach life’s challenges with confidence. It inspires and empower us to engage in self-care and move away from chaotic drama.

We know ourselves and can understand better & 1000 times better than anybody on this planet. we know our likes & dislikes, we know our strength & weakness, so the truth is we are the best consultant of our own lives. this is the reason we should talk to ourselves at least once in a day and find the reality of our lives.

There’s something about our words traveling from mouth to ear with no one else listening that can be incredibly freeing. I admit on occasion to even asking myself “What do you think?” after explaining one possible solution to something that’s troubling me. “You,” of course, is me…but it’s also my subconscious, which I’m happy to tap for advice. Talking out loud is a great way for your conscious brain to communicate with your subconscious.

Self-talk can help us motivate ourselves to achieve a goal at work, Even if no one else seems to be appreciating us at the moment. While talking to ourselves we can understand our thoughts better and can come with better and convenient solutions.

When we talk, It matters who is listening to the words. “All of us need to talk to someone who is interesting, intelligent, knows us well and is on our side and that’s us. “We are probably the most interesting person we know. Knowing ourselves and how we feel can help us improve.”

Whenever negative events or mistakes happen, positive self-talk seeks to bring the positive out of the negative to help us do better, go further, or just keep moving forward. The practice of positive self-talk is often the process that allows us to discover the obscured optimism, hope, and joy in any given situation.

Whenever you see people talking to themselves, remember that it’s a sign of sanity, not insanity. It makes us wiser, calmer, and more motivated.
