FreeCharge’s indigenous ‘On-The-Go-Pin’ technology completes two million transactions

Digital payments platform and e-wallet service provider FreeCharge on Friday revealed that its indigenously developed ‘On-The-Go-Pin’ technology has completed two million transactions since its launch.

The OTG pin is a dynamic four digit code that resides in the user’s FreeCharge App that keeps changing every 180 seconds and is present even with no internet or phone coverage.

The biggest positive has been the speed of transaction which the feature has offered and has immensely helped us in making our customer experience impeccable,” said CEO FreeCharge, Govind Rajan.

The customers can currently experience the feature to make payments across brands like Shoppers Stop, Pantaloons, Heritage Fresh, Bata, Vishal Mega Mart, Haldiram’s, McDonalds, Café Coffee Day, Barista, IOCL and HPCL petrol pumps and at various other local shops accepting payments via POS.
